Lyrics Review

I commute everyday to school, and have a total of at least two hours of pondering and thinking to myself. Usually, jeepneys and FXs (the main modes of commuting here in the Philippines) and sometimes even the tricycles play the radio, which I later found to be rather unhealthy to my soul.

"That's too extreme," you might say, but time and again I've pinpointed it to be a major influence on how I think. Really, you can hear a man's ideals in the songs he listens to. While this is obviously true to a lot of people especially the youth, since they usually sing songs that resound with their ideals or their feelings or emotions (take love songs for example), some might still say, "No, I don't really think about the lyrics at all" but the fact that you think it harmless is the real harm in it. While they might not be affected as they say - which I doubt - they nonetheless propagate the song's ideals and identify themselves with others who identify with the songs. For example, singing Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" passively consents with it. And most importantly, songs are easily remembered and sang without a second thought, which make them great teaching tools not only for God but also for the devil. It is disturbing that even Christian songs have some scriptural issues in them.

So here, I want to do a review of lyrics of all songs that I hear, and modify a little if necessary. Of course, I am not infallible, and civil comments are very much welcome.

Here is the criteria I'm going to use.

List
The following is the list of all songs with reviewed lyrics. If you can't find a specific song, you can comment or contact me at Facebook or Twitter and I can make one.
